Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — The ball is now in Washington’s court as Indonesia sends over the last of its tariff negotiation proposals to the United States. It has been decided that Indonesia, previously scheduled for a second round of talks with the US, will no longer send further delegations following a 15-minute phone call between President Joko Widodo (also known as Prabowo Subianto) and US President Donald Trump.
According to Bloomberg, Coordinating Economic Minister Airlangga Hartarto claimed on Friday (June 13) that all the necessary documents from Indonesia’s side had been handed over to the US. It is now Washington’s turn to make its final decision on the matter.
